It was pouring at our 8:30 start time. I was worried about lightening. Only one person had shown up and hadn't gotten out of his car. I decided it would be safest to cancel. Before we could leave, the rain all but stopped and several other walkers arrived. So we un-canceled and had a very good walk. Higlights included good close up looks at an Eastern Towhee, heard though not seen Brown Thrasher and Tufted Titmouses. We managed to stay mostly dry. There's a full list of species seen below.
